It scores every opportunity against your hours, target, skills, location, budget, urgency and experience, and shows the reasons. Options that are impossible for you (too much start-up cost, wrong location) are left out; ones that are only harder are ranked lower with the caution shown.

Are the earnings figures real?

They are estimates: an assumed hourly rate × your hours × 4.33 weeks × the share of hours realistically paid in the first months. The maths is printed next to every figure. We hold no survey of what people earn, so we never claim one.

Do I need to tell Revenue about side income?

Side income is taxable from the first euro. If your net non-PAYE income is under €5,000 (and gross under €30,000) you can declare it on Form 12 through myAccount. At €5,000 net or more you are a “chargeable person” and must register for self-assessment and file Form 11 by 31 October. (2026; general information, not personal tax advice.)
